Dr. Isla Arcaro received her undergraduate degree in Animal Science from University of Illinois at Urbana- Champaign in 2004. In 2011 she completed her studies at St Matthew’s University and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine degree.
Dr. Arcaro completed her Anesthesia residency at University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2016.
Dr. Arcaro joined the PVSEC team in the summer of 2016 as an Anesthesiologist.
Her clinical interests include local blocks, pain management and acupuncture.
Dr. Arcaro enjoys her two cats Quiz and Lefty, kayaking and hiking in her spare time.
Dr. Jennifer Bornkamp received her undergraduate degree from Delaware Valley College in 1999. In 2009 she completed her studies at Ross University of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Bornkamp completed her large animal rotating internship at Iowa State University in 2009 and her anesthesiology residency at the University of Florida from 2011-2013. She was a clinical instructor at Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine from 2013-2017. She is also certified in veterinary acupuncture and tui-na (acupressure and massage).
Dr. Bornkamp joined the PVSEC team in the spring of 2017 and is currently and anesthesiologist. Her clinical interests include anesthesia, pain management, acupuncture, and massage therapy. Dr. Bornkamp has two dogs, Candice and Odie, and two cats, Mosquito and Moxa. She enjoys kayaking, hiking, and is a 2016-2017 AVMA Future Leader.
