Dr. Sandra Sargent

Sandra Sargent


Dr. Sandra Sargent is a native of Beaver County. She received a BS in Animal Science from West Virginia University and her veterinary degree from the University of Minnesota in 1992. She spent 11 years in private practice in central and eastern Pennsylvania before completing a three-year residency specializing in veterinary dermatology at the University of Tennessee. Dr. Sargent passed a rigorous examination and achieved board certification in veterinary dermatology in August 2006. Her special interests include diseases of the ear canal and equine dermatology. She has authored several publications and has spoken at numerous continuing education seminars.

Dr. Sargent spends her free time breeding, showing and competing in field trials with her Brittanys, and riding her Tennessee Walking Horse.

Lindsay McAuliffe


Dr. Lindsay McAuliffe received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Villanova University in 2009. In 2013 she completed her studies at Tufts University and received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine.

Before joining the PVSEC team, Dr. McAuliffe began her career as a general practitioner in small animal medicine for four years.

Dr. McAuliffe joined the PVSEC team in the spring of 2017 and is currently a dermatology intern. Her clinical interests include dermatology and animal behavior.

Dr. McAuliffe enjoys hiking, cycling, dog sports, and bird watching in her spare time.
