Christine Anderson

DVM, MS, MS, DACVIM(Medical Oncology), DACVR(Radiation Oncology)

Dr. Anderson completed her Bachelor of Science in biology at the University of Notre Dame.  Following completion of her D.V.M. at the University of Minnesota, she completed dual Masters’ of Science in Clinical Sciences and Radiation Biology at Colorado State University.  Dr. Anderson continued her clinical training in the prestigious Colorado State University oncology program, completing dual residencies in comparative oncology and radiation oncology, and is double-boarded in medical oncology (ACVIM) and radiation oncology (ACVR). As such, she is uniquely qualified to discuss all therapeutic options available to owners of veterinary cancer patients.

After completing her residency training, Dr. Anderson spent 12 years treating medical oncology and radiation oncology patients at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston, MA.  She has multiple scientific publications and presentations on veterinary cancer therapy, and has lectured at numerous conferences including annual Veterinary Cancer Society meetings, ACVR meetings, and state veterinary medical association meetings. 

Dr. Anderson has two cats, “Macy” and “Skye” and, outside of work, she enjoys anything outdoors, and now exploring Pittsburgh.
